The inaugural meeting took place in Montreal, Quebec, the heart and home of the Laboratory. For the first time, BIOPSY members met at a single location to share their research and discuss interesting cases that they had encountered throughout their practice. The conference hosted 80 attendees from 8 different countries at the Sofitel Hotel in downtown Montreal. Guest speakers included Dr. Andrew Evans, Dr. Rubens Belfort, and Dr. Joaquim Murta.
